Northampton County Chapter, NSDAR

Cape Charles, Virginia

What an exciting time to be a Daughter in the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). Located in Cape Charles, Virginia, the Daughters of Northampton County Chapter, NSDAR, welcome you! We are a group of more than 40 dynamic Daughters, ages 53–95, who are faithful in our belief in the DAR motto of God, Home, and Country. We work together to promote the National Society's objectives of historic preservation, education, and patriotism. The Northampton County Chapter, NSDAR, is thriving and growing.

Rapidly moving forward, the entire Society, from national to state to district to our chapter, is using multiple modern communications to enthusiastically motivate, coordinate, and conduct many business aspects of the chapter. It is inspirational to have a positive mission on which to concentrate. We direct our hearts and energy to strategically focus our service by volunteering, educating, recognizing, and financially supporting our goals.

Our President General says it best: “Tomorrow’s DAR is diverse in generations, ethnicities, and backgrounds. It is our duty to ensure that every generation knows, every generation remembers, and no generation forgets, what it means to be an American.”

As we prepare for our nation’s 250th birthday, there are many ways to contribute that will inspire and excite you. Come join us and proudly serve. Light your spark!
